Community Medicine Inc. provides all required primary, preventive, enabling health services and additional health services as appropriate and necessary, either directly or through established written arrangements and referrals.
Primary and preventive services include:
- Basic health services which, for purposes of this policy, shall consist of-
- Health services related to family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, or gynecology that are furnished by physicians and where appropriate, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurse midwives;
- Diagnostic laboratory and radiologic services through contract agreement;
- Preventive health services, including
- Emergency medical services through hospital transfer agreement; and
- Pharmaceutical services through contracted pharmacy arrangement
